Bensalem to get new eatery and event facility located on the banks of the
Neshaminy Creek, featuring a modern American cuisine.
Bensalem, PA, April 25, 2023. Dockside’s Grand Opening will take place this week on Friday, April 28, 2023, on-site at 1067 Totem Rd, Bensalem. Dockside, a brand-new establishment, is located on the site of the former Water’s Edge, which closed last August (2022). Matt Rossi purchased the operation and has made extensive renovations, which will feature both daily dining, Sunday Brunch, and banquet hall facilities.
“Our vision for Dockside is to provide a memorable dining experience, elevating date nights and special occasions without breaking the bank,” says Rossi. “We also run a large off-site catering business and we’re excited to have a beautiful new facility to offer clientele, from corporate gatherings, to weddings, baptisms, and other parties and events.” Off-site catering is also available.
About Dockside
Proprietor, Matt Rossi, is an entrepreneur at heart, who found his niche in the restaurant and food service space. Other establishments include Nick’s Roast Beef located at 4501 Woodhaven Road in Northeast Philadelphia. Rossi also runs several food truck brands through Nick’s Catering and Events based out of Willow Grove, PA and recently reopened Philadelphia’s largest food truck commissary when he acquired it last summer (2022).
Dockside will serve modern, American cuisine, in a tranquil, creek-side setting. Appetizers, hand-tossed pizzas, salads, burgers (including a vegetarian option) and sandwiches, seafood, steaks, and more will all be featured on the menu. The multi-level, “dockside” deck features an additional bar and ample outdoor seating.
